CUSTOM CLUB FITTING

THE ULTIMATE CLUB FITTING EXPERIENCE IS AT MIKE MCGETRICK GOLF ACADEMY

Golf club evaluation is an important part of every student’s game improvement program at the Mike McGetrick Golf Academy. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced golfer, having golf clubs and balls that are fit to your individual attributes and abilities is instrumental in playing your best. Our goal is to utilize the most advanced technology to provide the best club fitting experience.

HOW A CUSTOM CLUB FITTING WORKS

We first gather swing data from a 3D motion capture system to help us understand how your body, club and ball move. The first half of the session begins indoors gathering data on the 3D motion capture system in order to determine the optimal shaft, club head and adjustable loft/weight configuration. The second half of the session moves outdoors where we will validate optimal ball flight performance. Ball flight validation will be done with a 3D Doppler Radar tracking Flightscope launch monitor. This is a perfect opportunity to compare between all brands and even your current equipment. All equipment will be custom built according to the specifications found during this advanced club fitting process.  We work with the following major manufacturers: Titleist, Taylor Made, Ping, Callaway, Cobra, Mizuno, PXG, Nike, Fourteen, Scotty Cameron putters, Vokey wedges, Piretti putters.
