What Moses Cruz learned on his way from dishwasher to Executive Chef, he learned in the hotel kitchens in Houston, Chicago, Puerto Rico, St. John (USVI), Aruba, and Phoenix. Along the way, he enjoyed positions at a golf resort in the Chicago area and at Shadow Hawk and Black Hawk (formerly Houstonian) before joining Golf Club of Houston. He is quick to acknowledge that GCOH members have menu favorites and equally open to offering new and different menu items via weekly specials and member events. When he is not in the kitchen, Chef Cruz enjoys fresh and saltwater fishing and traveling.
